Kitty’s POV

I listened carefully to the detective as he laid out everything that Trish said to him. I felt bad for the poor sucker because he is a victim of Trish's selfish manipulation, but at the same time, I didn't feel bad because he is a grown man in LA, and he should have known better than to get sucked into this kind of situation.

I knew where all this was going; he found out Trish had been using him, and his next move was to run to me. It was idiotic and useful at the same time. I wonder what other information he may have for me. I was going to use him for his worth. I didn't say I was a good woman; if using him for my sole gain is going to make me know more about Trish and her plans, then so be it.

I paid attention as he told me everything that had happened between the both of them and some of the dirty work she had him doing for her. It was stupid of him not to have known he was being used, but I couldn't judge him because it was obvio
