James entered the office with satisfaction, knowing he had gotten Kitty, and there was no going back. He was smiling when he got to Jennifer's office, looked inside, and was surprised she was on site today. She wasn't always around because she went downstairs to the lobby to keep up with gossip that passed among secretaries and receptionists.

"Jennifer, I will need you to revisit the contract for Mrs. Dante. I think she finally saw that this firm was the best place she could be," James said happily. He knew that if Kitty finally left Jason's firm, she was going to leave with all her clients, and he was due for new clients in his firm. Kitty knew her worth, but he was shocked and confused as to why she hadn't pushed for a partnership since she came to Jason's firm three years ago.
