Chapter 26. Family Dinner
Brent kissed Beverley on the lips. He bit her bottom lip open. His tongue slipped in and entwined with hers quickly. He sipped and slurped at her sweet mouth.
Beverley closed her eyes tightly. Her hands gripped Brent’s arms. Then she shook off the kiss. “Don’t be like this, Brent. It’s not right!”
The man looked at her desperately. “I know it shouldn’t be like this.”
They stared at each other with a feeling that was hard to explain. Brent held Beverley’s nape and wanted to kiss her again, but they suddenly heard the sound of footsteps approaching.
Beverley quickly pushed Brent back, and then she tidied up her own appearance. She folded her wet shirt until, a moment later, the wine house employee serving them appeared.
“Mr. and Mrs. Oliver, I’ve heard something has happened to you. I apologize for the inconvenience. Do you need my help?” The employee asked.
“No,” Brent replied flatly. He hurried away and returned to his desk.
