Chapter 51. The Accusation

Lillian’s POV

I took the initiative to convene the monthly meeting in the palace, and the Council of Elders was there.

I believed that, as I had passed the assessment, I could directly inherit the throne.

“...Everyone. I’ve taken the initiative to convene this month’s meeting as we had some pressing matters to discuss...” I began by addressing them in the courtroom.

The Chief Elder cleared his throat and spoke. “Thank you, Lillian. I appreciate your proactive approach, and we planned to have this meeting before. Now that you have called for the meeting, we should settle all the issues that we have right here.”

“I thought it was essential to get everyone together to address the issues sooner rather than later,” I replied.

He nodded his head and stood up
