Hermes's POV

Apparently, Lillian's act of pouring the poison that was meant for Emily was an open defiance against us.

What a naive young lady.

She was too stubborn and wouldn't give up on her fight for the throne, if she had agreed to get married to Heckim, everything would have gone back to me.

And I have found out from Emily that she is heading to the Nightwolf Pack to unite them with ours and gain military power.

If the Nightwolf Pack gets on her side, it won't be good, and jeopardize my plan.

I had to do something out, and I did not let her happen.

Emily should learn how to control her daughter, and she was getting out of hand. There has to be something I can do before she gets to Nightwolf Pack.
