I was accompanied by the army Chloe prepared for me, and I returned to the palace. I planned to incarcerate Jason’s family members since I learned of their involvement in the scheme at Nightwolf Pack.

I met Hermes in the palace, and we started a conversation. He approached me first when he saw me.

“You’re back home, Princess. How was your trip?” He looked around. If I were standing alone, he must’ve noticed that I was usually with either of the twins when I approached him.

“You came alone?”

I hummed.

“What about the Betas?”

“They will be here soon,” I remarked. I remembered that this wasn’t the reason I had come to speak with him. “I have been meaning to ask you, what’s your relationship like with the pack?
