Freya’s POV

‘One year ago, Rufus asked you to marry him,’ Elara said in my mind as I gazed upon my beautiful reflection in the full length mirror ‘And look at you now Freya,’ the wolf paused, I could hear her voice shake from her emotion ‘On your wedding day, looking absolutely breathtaking. Your parents would be so proud.’

I felt a warm tear stream down my face ‘I wish my parents could have met Rufus,’ I said in response to Elara ‘They would have adored him.’

‘Yes, they would have welcomed him into our family with open arms,’ Elara said ‘How are you feeling?’

A smile formed on my lips as I took in my image. The white dress cascaded over my body, fitting perfectly. The lace neckline delicate as the trim ran down across my chest and to my hips. I felt more beautiful than ever.
