Nathan’s POV

I could feel the smile pull my lips as I left the venue, I had messed up the happy couple’s wedding reception, and I felt amusement from how much I knew I had gotten into Freya’s mind.

Getting into my car, I pulled away from the venue and drove down the pebbled lane. Reaching the main road, I headed back to the Frostwind pack house.

‘What are you so smug about?’ Prince asked as he entered my mind. I sensed the soft blackness of his fur inside my mind, his golden eyes flashed with glee. ‘What have you done?’

‘You mean you weren’t paying attention, wolf?’ I asked, responding to Prince ‘You missed a perfect moment.’

‘I was sleeping,’ Prince said, his voice still sleepy after stirring ‘But do tell, what trouble have you been causing this time? Did you make someone cry? You know I like the stories where people cry.’

I chuckled ‘Not quite, but better,’ I paused, pressing my fingers against the steering wheel. I added some pressure to
