Chapter 17. My Fight

Freya’s POV

“Outside. Now!” I yelled at Nathan, my anger seared through me as I wanted to knock his lights out where he stood. “You really can’t help yourself can you? Always having to run your mouth off and ruin things with your entitled behavior.”

“Freya,” Rufus muttered. “Calm down, it’s alright I can handle this.”

“No Rufus,” I responded coldly. “This is my fight, I need to sort this out. Quit babying me! I’m not your daughter,” I regretted the words as soon as they left my mouth. I had allowed my temper to cause a rift between me and my mate, and it was begging to torture me.

I watched as Rufus took his eyes to Sienna, giving her an awkward look. Sienna returned his gaze and then switched her eyes to me, shaking her head slightly.

Nathan smirked at me, and his reaction drove me insane with fury. This was all a joke to him, he was causing trouble and he enjoyed it.

“Follow me,” I barked at Nathan. “We need to talk in private.”
