“Jared!” I said, beaming as I greeted the man who knocked on my front door. “How lovely to see you, have you come for Sienna?”

I gestured to invite Jared inside, stepping away from the doorway I waited for him to enter before I closed the door behind him.

“Not today,” He shook his head. “She told me she was busy today,” he paused. “But in fact, I’ve come to see you.”
