As I stirred from what seemed to be a short while of blackness, the first thing I caught on my senses was the scent in the air.

My eyes were covered, I could feel the tight fabric around my face, tied tightly at the back of my head as the force of the knot dug into my skin. My vision was black, no light seeped through the restraint across my eyes and I felt my heart begin to pulse in my chest through my fear.
