Freya’s POV

‘Sienna?’ I called her name once more as I made an attempt to reach out to my friend ‘Can you hear me Sie?’

I had been sitting in the dark of this room for…I wasn’t even sure. My vision was hindered by the darkness, my wolf senses unable to kick in to gain a visual on my surroundings.

The air smelt rotten, like the scent of damp and blood. It caused my stomach to turn as I took each steady inhale. My arms were restrained around my back, but not by chains. I could feel a rope-like texture, which seemed to loosen with each move I made.

‘These rookies can’t even kidnap someone properly,’ I said once more, reaching out to Sienna.

I realized I wasn’t getting a reply from Sienna, so I made an attempt to reach out to Rufus. Surely our connection would be stronger as we are mated.
