Sienna’s POV
“Oh how delightful to see you my child.”
The pompously annoying tone of Gerald rang in my ears, his elaborately dressed caped figure hung around the doorway. As Gerald gestured toward me, his cape flowed with his actions as he fingered the edge of the fabric.
‘Child?’ I said internally to my wolf, Rose ‘I’m probably older than he is.’
I heard Rose chuckle in response ‘Older, and no doubt wiser,’ I heard her silence as she paused ‘Be careful of this one, he looks as though he might ply you with far too much cake.’
I found myself giggling out loud at Rose’s comment, causing Gerald to stop in his tracks as he tilted his head slightly, confusion in his eyes.
“Something funny my dear?” He asked, beginning to calm his wild gestures down as he stood still, still hanging around the doorway.
“Not particularly,” I said in response. “Beautiful home you have here Gerald.”
