Nathan’s POV

“What did you say?!” I asked Robert on the other end of the phone, knowing I had caught his words, but wanted to make sure I was correct.

“Sir Milo Crimson arrived not long ago,” Robert said. “Using the family Luddington name, he brought a guest.”

“That little…” I murmured under my breath. Using my name to get him access into places without me being there. I didn’t befriend him to let him use me to his advantage.

“Oh, and he brought a guest, sir,” Robert said, clearing his throat as though he would enjoy the reveal to me.

“Go on,” I said, waiting for Robert’s response.

“Sir Rufus Crimson of the Highland Pack,” Robert said. “In all honesty it’s not going very well. Jack has already sniffed them out and is threatening them to remove them from the establishment, sir.”
