Chapter 84. Elaine Luddington
Nathan’s POV
I listened to my Mother’s words, the string of nonsense which came from her mouth, but somehow I didn’t believe a word she said to me.
It stemmed from living with her all these years, her insanity and lies had corrupted and manipulated me for so long. I was now beginning to realize she wasn’t always right, in fact she barely was right. Not in her intentions, anyway.
Perhaps Prince was correct, were her intentions with Freya’s powers true? Or was she using me as a pawn in her secret game? So many ideas flowed through my mind, I made up scenarios of what my Mother could possibly be planning, one even involved her being an Alien from a planet who studied us. I wouldn’t put it past her.
‘I told you,’ Prince said inside my mind, a low chuckle sounded ‘Never trust that evil harpy. Although the alien theory may be a tad far-fetched.’
He was right, Elaine Luddington was an evil harpy. But she was my Mother nonetheless, I was so torn between
