Chapter 90. Secret Conversations

Milo’s POV

Entering the home, I immediately caught the sound of the voices of my family coming from upstairs. So, my interest being piqued, I decided to join them in their conversation.

As I walked the stairs, I tried to make out their words. It was then I heard the chuckle of Connor inside my mind.

‘Why is it, whenever we come home there’s always some secret conversation going on?’

‘I have noticed,’ I said in reply ‘It’s like they don’t want me to be a part of their chats.’

‘I don’t think they want us part of this family, full stop,’ Connor replied with a snide tone.

I laughed ‘What makes you say that?’

‘Just a hunch,’ Connor said in return ‘You don’t need feral senses to figure that one out.’
