Chapter 45. Fated Mate!

Elena's POV.

I let out a loud growl as I turned to the two useless men whose trousers were down, and I pounced on them. The fact that they wanted to rape me made me very angry. I bit them, and they let out a loud growl before they died.

"Who wants to come?" I roared, but then no one came forward. They were all moving backwards, away from me.

And then I turned to Derek, whose eyes were wide in surprise. I read his lips as he whispered, "You have gotten your powers."

I nodded, still in shock. "I can't believe I have broken the curse," I said, my voice barely above a whisper.

Derek took a step forward, his eyes filled with a mix of fear and awe. "Elena, you're...you're a beautiful," he stammered.

I looked down at my hands, and they were glowing with a soft, ethereal light. I felt powerful, unstoppable.

"I'm free," I whispered, wagging my tail.

And then, I heard Oli
