Gabriel's POV

"Dad, you must give her up. You can't have her back after all these years. She's moved on." One of my least favorite things to do is deal with an obstinate Alpha lycan.

Even after they've been apart for nearly four years, my father still can't let go of Zeila. Throughout the years, she never communicated with him, lived in Human Town, and did not use any of his personal resources. He could scarcely refer to himself as her mate now. 

"She's engaged to an amazing man." I informed my father, "I met him, and they are crazy about each other. They even declared to the public that they're in love and are about to tie the knot."

Gerald, though, is not giving up and constantly looking for ways to find loopholes the lycan laws so that he can have complete claim over Zeila. I do not understand this. He largely disregarded her during their active mating. The biggest difficulty for him was her age.
