With her head on Gerald's shoulder, Zeila dozed off. It had been a frantic few hours. She was quite exhausted. As soon as they were on board, she sat down on his lap and refused to sit anywhere else. Her face was now against his neck, her hot breath trailing where her mark should have been, just in case he decided to accept her—something he wasn't really sure of yet.
The former Luna of Blue River made a statement that demonstrated how outsiders will perceive them as a pair. Actually, Zeila was too young for him.
