Chapter 40

Mona had her gaze lowered as she entered the room. She could feel Alpha Dylan’s stare on her, and it didn’t feel good. It burned the whole of her skin. She had told Sansan it was a bad idea to sling her along to seek permission from the Alpha.

Dylan tried to control the anger and irritation that surged through him at her sight. He couldn’t explain it but seeing her didn’t sit right with him. He had almost forgotten that there was someone around him that he didn’t want around. This was one of the reasons he would forever hate Douglas for putting him through such torture.

He could sense her wolf trying to growl at his; it only made him more irritated. This was why he warned her to steer clear of his path. Her presence irked him always and brought past regrettable memories to him.
