Mona inhaled deeply, feeling happy and relaxed at being finally able to move freely. It had bothered her that Sansan placed her life on a pedal to keep her in check. But she tried not to put her mind to it, knowing there was no way she would sacrifice a dear friend’s life just for her own selfish reasons.
Sansan had taken her time to help Mona get dressed, and she looked beautiful after enhancing her face with blushes. Stepping out of the packhouse felt like extreme freedom. To cap it all, the market appeared to be bubbling with life as many activities took place. And it amused her.
“What’s going on?” she asked Sansan, stretching out her neck to see where people had gathered in one spot.
“Oh, that would be Mark. He is an Omega, and he comes around to the packhouse really well. He is the assigned packhouse baker, the Lycans most renowned baker, and he’s really good at what he does, also quite close to the alpha,” Sansan explained.
