Bending to pluck out the fresh tomatoes sprouted in the garden, Kate smiled pleasantly at the plant. It reminded her of how red her daughter Mona can get, just like the tomato, whenever her face flushes. Kate chuckled to herself.

“Someone seems happy,” Jack cooed in her ear.

Kate leaned back into him, laughing brightly. “Just had a thought on our daughter. She would have loved this tomato.”

Jack nodded. “She would have. I am just glad she is happy now.”
