Chapter 87
Sansan gasped loudly as the door clicked shut behind her. Foden, who had been lost in thought, stared back immediately.
“Sansan? Why are you here?” he inquired.
She looked behind her again. “I don’t know. The Alpha called me in here.”
Foden smirked when it dawned on him what Dylan had done. “Come sit.”
Sansan groaned inwardly; it was obvious the Alpha had played her just to talk to Foden. She has been trying her best to stay away from him, even though her mother told her to give him a chance. Sansan still doesn’t want to take chances with Foden. The hurt and emotional trauma Mona had been subjected to, all in the name of being rejected, had made Sansan vow to herself not to let anyone hurt her that way.
Foden cleared his throat to get her attention. “Please sit. He won’t unlock the door until he wants to.”
