Chapter 51
Leila's POV
I couldn't help but ask Xavier for the umpteenth time where he was taking me to even though I was well aware of the fact that he would never tell me. I know that it was another heartwarming surprise but I couldn't help but feel bored. We had been driving for what felt like ages, and Xavier had been teasing me with the promise of a surprise. "Just trust me, Leila," he would say with a mischievous smile each time I asked him where we were headed. Frustration mounted within me as I wondered what the surprise would be.
Finally, he parked the car and turned around to open the door for me. I stepped out of the car and stretched my bones yawning, expressing my tiredness and he cocked a brow at me. Curiosity tingling in my veins as I looked round the environment that did not give me the slightest idea of where we were and what exactly we were doing here. I felt a cloth hover my eyes and I turned around to look at him.
