Leila's POV

"What took you guys so long?" Ellie asked as my brother and his mate sat with us.

" Well, someone wanted to wear the perfect dress." He said. He was biting his lips.

" You don't want me in rags do you?"

" That doesn't mean you should spend six hours shopping for a single dress."

" So you're saying that I was wasting your time?" She started sobbing and I bit my lips hard to stop myself from laughing while Kenny tried to pacify his mate who was at the verge of tears.

Ellie was the first to laugh and I couldn't hold myself again. Kenny glared daggers at us while we laughed at him. He looked so exhausted. It was rare to see him like that.

My eyes roamed around the room and I spotted the people I came here for.

" Um... guys, I'm going to talk to Damian and Shirley now."

" Do you want me to come with you?" Ellie asked concerned and I shook my head.

" It's not something I need backup for. I just want to talk to them."
