Olive's insides turned to a puddle and her breath caught in her throat as her mate, Wayne said those words while looking her in the eye like only she mattered in the entire freaking universe. Like she was the only girl in the world. Like she was the only thing worthy of his love in the world. She flushed and walked over to him with a smile.

“Babe, come on. You don't have to. There's stuff we gotta tackle and—”

Wayne shut her up with a sudden kiss. He lingered and when he finally pulled away, he gazed into her eyes.

“You deserve every good my love. I want to give you everything good. I want to love you the way you deserve. Please, let me.”

Olive kissed him back and laced her fingers in his hair that seemed to have grown longer.

“All right. Except I'm also going to love you the way you deserve. You can't take all the credits for the best lover.”

Wayne laughed and moved away from Olive.

“Come on, let's have breakfast. We're leaving immediately after.”
