Chapter 56. Bribing Wayne

The Alpha and his mate soon went down for breakfast. Olive insisted they visit the pool before leaving the villa, so they headed out there right after eating.

“It’s so pretty here,” Olive mused as she gazed all around. Wayne was leaning against a tree with his hands in his pockets, his eyes following her every move.

“Why do you keep following me with your eyes like you suspect I’ll escape again?” she asked jokingly as she walked toward the pergola.

“I can’t seem to get enough of your figure,” he replied casually, as if he weren’t flirting at all. Olive laughed and looked at him.

“If you keep doing all that, you might fall in love with me soon,” she warned in a playful tone. He chuckled dryly and ruffled his hair.

“How do people fall in love?” he asked. Olive’s brow furrowed.
