Chapter 63. Gia's Threat

On that day, Wayne had gone to Italy for a visit to an Alpha friend of his. He had a pack hidden in Rome, unknown to humans. All members of his pack were rich, and had lots of jewelries which had been passed on from generation to generation. These jewels were priceless possessions and some even had myths attached to them.

Alpha Maximo was a calm yet deadly man, just like all of Wayne's friends were. But he was quite different from them in a way. Dante Maximo was kindhearted. No one knew he even possessed a dark side because of how good he appeared, both to humans and his pack. Dante had not found his mate yet, but he was already saving tons of jewelry for her. He said he couldn't wait to meet her.

Out of his jewelry collection, he gave that gold necklace to Wayne. Saying he should keep it for his own mate.

“Have this, Wayne. I pray your mate likes it,” he teased as he handed it to his friend.

“Why? I don't care about a mate. In fact, I hope I never find her,” Wayne
