Chapter 81. Wayne's 'Prisoner'

Wayne didn't let Olive do anything on her own after she woke up, even when she was clearly looking fine. He said her body needed rest because of her ‘too fast healing’.

“Dude! I was sleeping for three days!” she would nag, but he wouldn't listen.

“Yes. But your blood didn't flow well. So, you have to mellow down, or you'll get a stroke. Just let your body get used to you being awake first. Move around, but don't go to the Circular Cabinet or the kitchen. If you want coffee, let me know,” he had said.

Olive glared at him, and he glared back. Finally, she gave up and slumped on the bed. She had been sitting there and watching a movie on his tablet ever since. He met with a few officials and warned her not to leave the quarters.
