Chapter 80. Wayne's 'Prisoner'

Wayne didn't allow Olive do anything on her own after she woke up, even when she was obviously looking fine. He said her body needed rest because of her ‘too fast of a healing’.

“Dude! I was sleeping for three days!” she would nag but he wouldn't listen.

“Yes. But your blood didn't flow well. So, you have to mellow down or you'll get a stroke. Just let your body get used to you being awake first. Move around but don't you go to the Circular Cabinet or the kitchen. If you want coffee, let me know,” he had said.

Olive glared at him and he glared back. Finally, she gave up and slumped on the bed. She had been sitting there and watching a movie on his tablet ever since. He went to meet up with a few officials and warned her not to leave the quarters.

Olive had thought he was just being too sensitive regarding her health, but it was because he was scared. They had not realized who planned the attack on her yet.
