"Look at the mess you've just made, Ethan!" Fang, my wolf, declares inside my mind, and I feel overwhelming remorse hit my heart like a violent wave crashing against cliff rocks. Fang's voice reverberates in my head, charged with a primal fury that echoes like thunder, making my chest tighten with almost unbearable weight.
"Please, Fang, not now," I plead with a tone of supplication, my voice trembling like a leaf in the wind. My eyes are fixed on Anastasia, her teary eyes causing me immense anguish, perhaps greater than my own curse.
