Chapter 164. Going In The Right Direction

Asher POV

Roy and I walked through the forest that was swamped with tall trees that formed a canopy over us. The crescent shaped moon, was almost impossible to see through the thick leaves. We had been walking for almost an hour and we were nowhere close to the our destination.

I slipped the photo out of my pocket and gazed at the address on the back once again.

“Riverdale lake, the coordinates are 24NW,” I muttered to myself.

Roy sighed heavily beside me, and I turned to him. Beads of sweat has gathered on his forever and he was slouched down. I could understand his exhaustion. Walking for miles was bound to tire out a person, and it was appalling that our destination was nowhere in sight.

We kept on walking further in the forest and the more we walked, the deeper in we went. The trees were getting bigger and their leaves were beginning to completely cover every single aorta of light we were getting from the moon.
