Chapter 46. A Gunshot

Felix POV

I stared at my phone, my eyes fixed on the last text Suzie has sent me. She has agreed to cook dinner with us and it made me really happy. But now, all I could do was worry. It has been two hours since she sent the text, and she clearly stated she was on her way home.

So why was she not back yet.

My eyes trailed to the window and I saw that the clouds were already darkened. My eyes flickered to the clock, and it displayed the time very boldly. It was a little after 8pm, which made me worry even more.

I heard footsteps and turned to see Blair walked into the living room.

“She isn’t back yet?” He asked.

I shook my head. Blair cursed underneath his breath and began to pace around the living room. His anxiety matched mine, and seeing him pace around was making me even more anxious.

Asher and Roy walked into the living room a few minutes later and it was clear from their expression that they were just as worried as I was.
