Chapter 52. Leaving The Pack

Suzie POV

I gazed at Elliot, my mind and body in a total state of shock. Everything he had narrated for me seemed hard to believe. The things he said about my mother put me in a state of disbelief.

“I can’t believe this, I can’t believe any of this. So you’re trying to tell me, that my own mother, abandoned me, and left me with that man?”

“Suzie, look,” Elliot sighed. “I know it looks like mother abandoned you, but it was because she didn’t have a choice, she couldn’t take you with her. If she did, she probably wouldn’t have been able to escape alpha Stanley.”

I shook my head. I just could not accept anything he was saying.

“That all sounds like excuses. If she really wanted me, she would have found a way to take me with her! I suffered front the hands of my father!” I yelled, tears blurting my vision.

My lips began to quiver as I tried my best to suppress my tears.
