Chapter 17. Full Moon
“P-Prepared for what?” She dared to ask.
“Don’t bother pretending to be so innocent! Although… this is quite unlike you Damon~” A loud crack made Sarah’s eyes bulge. Jason had smacked Damon’s shoulder with what awfully seemed like every ounce of strength he could muster, then proceeded to grin like a Cheshire cat while wiggling his brows. “But aren’t those shackles on the wrong person? Roleplaying too? Woah!”
Damon swatted his hand off, scowling. “The fuck are you going on about? It’s not a—” Damon’s lips halted mid-sentence, jaws slack as his gaze landed on the night sky. For a moment, he didn’t say a word then his eyes narrowed, glaring at the moon as if willing it to fall from the sky. Crossing his arms, he glanced at Sarah, only to immediately look away the second their eyes met.
