Chapter 97. Evacuation

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

"Alright, everyone, move quickly and carefully; we don't have time to waste,” Gregory said, guiding all the maids in the mansion toward the underground hideout he had prepared for them.

As Gregory directed them toward the entrance, another warrior wolf recorded the number of maids that entered using numbered cards that were previously handed to them.

The maid also brought with them clothes and supplies that would last them for however long the war was going to be.

As the maids rushed through the passage, Christine walked by.

“Gregory, we need to talk,” Christine said, stopping before him.

“Christine, not now; we can talk after the war is over. You should hurry into the hideout before it's closed,” Gregory replied.

“But it's really important; you're going to war with really dangerous people, so I might not have this chance anymore. Please listen to me,” Christine said.

“Christine, Common, the doors are closing!” Marie
