Chapter 98. Escaping Cortana

~3RD PERSON'S POV~

The exploding sounds of the alphas and betas battling shook the hideout where all the maids were located. They all believed that their alpha would win this battle in no time at all, so none of them looked worried. Except for Christine.

Christine paced around, looking very distressed. She had something she needed to say to Gregory and was worried that she wouldn't get the chance to say it if anything bad happened to him.

“Hey, what's wrong?” Marie asked.

“It's… I really need to see Gregory. I can't sit here and do nothing while he's out there fighting for our lives,” Christine said.

“You seriously want to speak to him now? He's in the middle of a serious battle at the moment; you'll get killed if you go out there,” Marie replied.
