Chapter 44

Adams Gets Mad at Eve

The sun’s rays get orange as the sun sets peacefully.

“You guys should let me in. The Queen is my friend - we even explored the Caelum kingdom together,- and trust me, we had the worst experience of our lives.” she sadly wiggles her head, fixing them with a pathetic stare as she seriously narrates, as if the guards were interested. 

She starts forging her way, but unfortunately, no one is taking her serious. She strides like an ant at the bottom of a tall hedge. She stands on her toes and punches one of the guards on the stomach, this is how far her hands can reach. 

“Hey, you go in there and tell the Queen that her friend Matilda wants to see her.”

“Yea, Kind Demons is my brother.” the guards reply sarcastically as they burst into laughter. He places his hand at the top of her head restraining her from moving. 

She keeps battling in vain as her blows fades in the space inbetween them.
