Esmeralda's POV

Ever since I woke up and saw that I was still with Frederick and not in the arms of Killian, I had been unable to rest.

My head ached and my heart was erratic. There were problems with sleeping and eating, in summary, i was just out of it.

This was something Frederick did not care about. All he cared for, all he wanted to know was that I was lying on the bed, within his reach. Whether I was okay with it or not did not matter to him.
