“Cleo and I are heading for lunch. Are you coming?” Keisha offered after I answered my cell phone.

“Vance and I have decided to eat together. Tomorrow might be a better day.” I had to take a rain check. My mate claimed that he was on his way and I cannot shake the feeling my wolf gave me earlier about some woman fiddling with him.

I closed the patient file, placing it down on the pile before me. I took up the big folder to my right that enlisted all the patients in the hospital to assess their reason for being admitted.
