Chapter 10
Eliana’s POV
Despite the pain in my heart, I decided to pack my things. Maybe this place isn’t the right place for me at the moment. Maybe I needed some time off from this place because I had a lot of things to be reminded of by Oliver. While I was packing, I decided to message Wendel that I was leaving the country for a while. He didn’t reply right away, but I understood that he was busy with the new life he was building in Dubai, so I continued packing my things. We would be leaving tomorrow morning.
Aly went inside my room while I was busy packing my outfits for Paris. We would be staying for two months with my aunt, who has a French husband.
“Are you ready?” Aly asked me as she sat on my bed while watching me.
I paused for a moment, looking at the half-filled suitcase before me. “Yeah, I’m ready,” I replied, forcing a smile that didn’t quite reach my eyes.
