Chapter 12
Eliana’s POV
I decided to go outside my aunt’s apartment to paint the outside of it. I wanted to explore painting once again, but as I was about to fix my things, I noticed a guy standing not far away from me, looking at my materials. I got shy immediately, thinking if I could continue painting while someone was watching me. And the worst thing happened, he started walking toward me. Does he speak English? Gosh, I don’t speak French at all.
“You paint?” he smiled at me.
“I’m trying,” I said and smiled shyly.
“Can I watch you?” Wait, he was familiar.
“Oh, that’ll be really awkward,” I chuckled.
I looked at his face and confirmed that he was the artist we’d seen in the cafés. I gasped, and it surprised him.
“I know you,” I said.
“I know, I remember you as well from yesterday. You smiled at me. Have we met before?” he asked curiously.
