Justin’s POV
I was excited to see Mom and tell her the good news, but as I opened the door, I was dumbfounded to see Lana. I sighed in disappointment. Seeing her right now annoyed me a lot.
“Son,” Mom said.
“Leave, Lana,” I said sternly, glaring at her. I didn’t want her to ruin my good mood.
I immediately went to my room, but Lana was about to follow me. I heard Mom tell her not to.
I could hear them talk from the living room since my apartment was small.
“We can be friends, Lana. But stop bothering Justin,” Mom calmly said.
“But I still love him,” Lana desperately said.
“He doesn’t love you anymore, honey. He loves Eliana,” Mom said. I smirked, hearing those words from my mom. Lana needed to hear it from her so she could go back to her senses.
“But he loved me first,” she insisted. I shook my head.
“The past is gone, Lana. What’s important is the present,” Mom explained.
