Justin’s POV

The sun’s rays entered our room, which woke me up. I looked at the woman beside me; she was still sleeping soundly. I left her for a while to prepare breakfast. Ever since she moved here, she’s been the one who keeps preparing food. I think it was my time to prepare something for her, but I realized it was still she who had actually made breakfast for us. I saw her surprise—my favorite dish. I decided to heat it instead of cooking another dish.

The aroma of the food filled the room. It was making me hungry, and I was getting excited to eat this food. I decided to wake up Eli. She was shocked to see the time.

“Oh, it’s 8! I’m sorry I slept so long. Wait for me here. I’ll cook breakfast quickly,” she said, panicking.

“Eli, it’s fine,” I chuckled. “I heated the food you cooked for me last night. It’s ready. Let’s eat now,” I kissed her forehead.

“Thank you,” she smiled at me.

We went to the dining table and ate our breakfast when
