Eliana’s POV

The freshly brewed coffee filled the air inside our cafe. Aly was standing in front of the counter, greeting some customers, while I stood behind, eagerly waiting for Wendel and Callie. Today was not just a regular catch-up session but also an opportunity to introduce Justin to my friends.

Just as the clock struck 10:00 am, the door chimed, and in walked Wendel, a broad smile on his face.

“You’ve gotten so much prettier,” I hugged Wendel’s fiance, Callie.

“I need to be pretty, Eli. You know I’ve been doing a lot of sessions to clear my face from my acne scars. I need to be the prettiest at my wedding,” she chuckled.

“Of course, Callie, you will be,” I smiled at her, and I turned to Wendel and hugged him. “Hey, it’s nice to see you again,” I said.

“Nice to see you too, Eli,” he patted my head as if I were a child.

“This is my boyfriend, Justin,” I introduced him to my friends.
