Chapter 15
The four taxi drivers were sitting in wooden chairs along a long cold metal table in a windowless white room. Each of them had electrodes taped to their temples and a monitor wrapped around their chests. A man in a lab coat sat across from them looking at four monitors.
“Do you have any idea what’s going on?”
“No, you?”
“Nope.”
The one door to the room opened. Major Ross walked in followed by Natasha and Captain Robinson. Captain Robinson had her typical facial expression like she had just sucked on a lemon.
“Thank you all for coming,” Major Ross told the drivers.
“Didn’t have much choice, when two armed men showed up at our doors,” the lady driver said. Two of the other drivers nodded. The fourth driver, an older Asian man, just smiled.
“You need to tell us everything you remember from the last twelve hours,” Captain Robinson said.
