Chapter 18. Comfort

Lucas was resting on his bed, thinking about something. He was having trouble sleeping. He yearned for Penelope. Lucas was eager to see her. Lucas couldn't wait till Penelope got back from work at noon. He attempted to kiss and cuddle Penelope. As he received a text message from Penelope, his thoughts were disturbed.

Penelope: We’re on our way home, love. See you in a while.

Lucas: See you. I can’t wait to see you.

Lucas threw his phone on the bed and went to the bathroom for a bath. He was excited to be with his girlfriend again.
