Chapter 55. Let’s Go

Penelope is in the room thinking about how she will tell Lucas to allow her son to spend the new year at Dylan's house.

She typed a few times for Lucas but erased it immediately because she felt her son would not allow them to go with Dylan.

After a few minutes, he typed again.

[To Lucas: Love, Dylan's mother asked me if Elijah and I could go and stay with them this coming new year. They said they wanted to be with Elijah since it was their first time being with their grandson. ]

After sending the text, she lay down on the bed while waiting for Lucas's reply.

"Mommy," Elijah said as he ran closer to her. She was surprised at what her son did, so she sat up.

She looked at her son and smiled. "You are handsome, baby," she said, and Elijah giggled at her. Elijah was wearing a t-shirt and blue shorts that Thomas and Friends designed on his t-shirt.
