Chapter 54. Come Here

Elijah was sweating as he ran from the front door to the kitchen while Penelope chased after him.

"Baby! Stop running. You may slip!" Penelope reprimanded her son.

Penelope went in Elijah's direction to be able to catch her son. "Baby! I caught you!" the woman laughed as she lifted Elijah.

"Papa! Help me!" Elijah asked Lucas for help.

"What? No! No one will help here," Penelope said as she laughed and hugged her son tightly as they went to the living room to see Lucas, but the man wasn't there.

"Where is your Papa?" Penelope inquired of Elijah as they sat on the couch.

"Papa's outside, Mommy. He is using his phone," Elijah replied.

Penelope said, "Oh, okay," and then wiped Elijah's sweaty head and back.

It was already five months since Elijah fully recovered from his anemia. When he recovered, his naughtiness doubled, putting Dylan and Penelope�
