Jacob wondered if he had said anything wrong. He was scared but he decided to stand firmly on his words, something he had learnt overtime.

“Alright then, I shall let you go now. I await an answer before the end of this party” Rodrigo said to Jacob as he stood with his arms behind his back.

“You may leave now” Rodriguez stated.

Jacob nodded as he got up from his seat heading towards the door. 

Rodriguez watched him as he walked away without looking back.

Jacob shut the door behind him slowly, he took a pause as he Inhaled deeply at the thought of everything that had transpired between him and Rodriguez. He knew his boldness had spared him. Jacob shut his eyes as he thought hard about the things that could have gone wrong.
